This month really feels beautiful. It's no wonder a very good brand manager like Krishna, chose it to represent himself. The last hour of darkness, a sense of being here and longing for it at the same time, because it feels like it will slip away soon.

We have a very strong influence of Mula nakshatra, with the Sun and Venus posited there, and Mars just as we speak, sliding to Purva Ashada.

The word Mula in Sanskrit means the origin, the cause, the base, foundation or the root.

Where do you suppose the root or origin would be placed in a chart? Right at the beginning? That's what makes logical sense doesn't it?

The only problem with logic, is that it arrives too soon. It doesn't wait for the answer. It comes with quick thinking, sharp judgement.

Wisdom, however, can be quite meandering.

Mula is placed in the ninth house. The first group of degrees of Sagittarius, houses a Lunar mansion, that is named as Mula.

It points to the center of our galaxy.

Is it in the raindrop or the sea? In the icy cold glacier or the embrace of a warm sun?

Each nakshatra or Lunar Mansion is assigned with a deity. The deity is chosen in such a way as to represent the energy of that particular area of the chart.

If a nakshatra is named as 'The Source', 'Mula', what kind of deity do you think one would assign to this area? Customarily, especially in the Hindu custom, the beginning of an event is carefully selected and blessed with rituals and prayers. There is a belief that it has to be auspicious at the beginning. Why do you think she is chosen to represent 'the origin'? To stand for the energy of the foundation? The one who rules over the base?

How Does The Plant Grow?

A seed is discarded. Torn apart from inside. Tiny roots fight through the darkness. Tender shoots reach out to the sky. The plant is fed by the decay and destruction of other life...dead plants and rotting animals.

Even if the whole world is droning on about the light. Unless you learn to embrace the darkness, you may be deceiving yourself in a uni-dimensional flatness.

Now is the time to go to the roots of the list. Uproot somethings on the list.

Making a list is an art form in itself. Some people don't know how to handle their enthusiasm. I know someone who just made their list. He said "I am going to enroll 5 new people everyday, as part of my sales plan."

That's not a list. That's a prison sentence. A punishment.

Better make a very tiny list. Focus on the first three months of simply improving your sales skills. Making sure that everyday you do something towards being a pretty awesome sales person. Maybe it is to study your product, or to just be a nicer person to be around.

If you are a musician, and you made a list to make ten new songs for the year ahead. Uproot stuff. Make it 5-6 songs.

Keep in tiny, keep it in this buzzing place of possibility. Where you feel like that could be done easily, and then you still feel like it is scary. You feel like you will tick it off, and you feel like you will already miss this phase of everything being new, when it simply becomes just something you do.

The Best Time To

Let things rot. All the grandiose ambitions the world has thrust on you. Let it decay.

All the habits that have taken up space, just because without them the world was becoming too strange to handle. Let them die.

Let the calcified shell around you crack. You maybe a bit raw...but you will find a way to let life touch you again.

Make yourself resolute.

Don't lose hope. What's the best place to start?

Right where you are is good. Feeling afraid? Feeling like a loser? Feeling like you've done everything wrong?

That's a pretty good base.

And above everything take care of your health.
