As Above So Below

That was quite the fiasco by Indigo Airlines this week! And it unfortunately boils down to the simple fact that though they own 60% of the market share, they are not ready to hire enough number of pilots. Post 2020, there has been a whole lot of bad press regarding airlines. Sudden inexplicable crashes, outdated machinery and large shortages in staff. Pilots these days don't even get the optimal recommended rest time.

I suppose they don't want to spend on hiring more pilots because they are waiting to hand the job over to a robot.

The Future Is Here

We are living a hackneyed comic script. There is a group that calls itself 'The Maleficent Seven'. They are working for control over the whole world by replacing humans with machines. The world is confused, doesn't know what it's been hit by. The PR interviews by the Maleficent Seven promise a lot of wonderful things. They will eradicate poverty. They will make life-saving drugs. And they will simply hand over wads of money to everyone, and no one needs to ever work again!

One of them, Musk, repeats something he read out of a science fiction book. He says when people become really advanced, then money is no longer a system that is required.

At the same time he is actively negotiating a trillion dollar salary for himself. So either he is wrong, or he is not really advanced himself.

Trite Contrite

It's not easy to live through the most momentous years of our lives. It feels like being stirred in a large bowl with a stormy debris soup.Nothing stays still even for a moment. And there are far too many factors to take into consideration. Feels like we won't make sense of things for sometime longer.

It's a good time to assess your situation before things start becoming even crazier next year.

Sky Weather

There is a lot of activity in the skies. As above so below.

No one can make their minds up on what 3I Atlas is. Some days it has a tail like a comet, on some days it doesn't and on some days the tail points towards the Sun. And then it seems to be emitting X-ray light.

At the end of October an Airbus plane suddenly dropped altitude during flight, that led to 15 people being injured. A month later in the last week of November, more than 6000 of their aircraft were grounded. What caused this? Air bus says that it is a result of solar flares, radiation from the Sun.

And then there are scientists who say that on that particular day of October 30th, there was no significant change in solar weather.

It seems to be a real mystery.

Falliable

It is scary when high tech things fail. We are constantly trained to believe that high technology is our savior. It is the answer to all the problems in the world.

I'm not an all out Luddite. I love the internet. I've learnt more online than at any educational institution.

Someone came quietly and set up the world wide web, and people took time to get acquainted, and slowly the world changed.

No one told me that I am redundant. In fact for the longest time I was told to actively participate in making the world wide web.

Today the tech world feels exactly like the Big Boss show my neighbor watches all the time. Everyone is screaming, and I don't know if anyone in making sense.

Center Of The Cyclone

No matter what happens on the outside. There is still something we can do to make our lives better. No matter what the screaming chaos is, we can find a way to sit down quietly with ourselves.

Meditation is one the most powerful gifts you can give yourself.

Whatever happens in the future, one thing is for sure. A daily meditation practice will only help you. There is no way that it can make things worse.
